Normals & Displacment

I decided to go back to the muscular model and export the Normal & Displacement map out of Mudbox so that they can be applied in Maya, this should be an easy process and I am sure it is when you have done ti a couple of times but this is my first go so expect problems!!! Anyway here is the Normal;
Here is the map given a test run in a cool little application;
So far things are going ok, I know that seems can be seen in the model but I should be able to rectify that in Maya, now here is the problem......I don't really know how. I know the process but what to click on is a mystery so I am off to read but for a laugh here is what happens when you randomly click!!!
