2,000,000 polys!!!

I have ramped up the polys and set about putting in detail, the poly count is just over 2,000,000 and I know a few of you will gasp at the prospect and go "why?" but there is a reason, in order to do a suitable displacement map or normal map it is necessary to use high poly counts as you are only going to make maps out of the mesh and bake them to the low poly model in Maya giving the viewer that the low poly model has more detail than it actually has. This process is common place within the industry and is used in next gen games.
